Ayda specializes exclusively in the area of immigration law. She has successfully represented clients before the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ayda obtained her law degree with honors from New York Law School. Prior to obtaining her Juris Doctor, Ayda earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
As an immigration attorney Ayda has been exposed to a wide spectrum of cases and issues, including those riddled with complex criminal matters. She has successfully played the role of an advocate and investigator by researching, writing, and filing appeals, motions to reopen and/or reconsider before the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to relocating to California, Ayda practiced Immigration Law in New York City, where she assisted clients from countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, among others. During her years in New York, she worked on obtaining various nonimmigrant visas including O-1A, O-1B, E-2, E-3, H-1B, H-3, TN, J-1, as well as EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 immigrant petitions.
As an immigrant and naturalized citizen, Ayda has come to appreciate the importance and impact of a trustworthy, diligent, and competent immigration attorney. Ayda was born in Iran and relocated to the United States at the age of 12. After seven years of immigration proceedings, Ayda and her family successfully gained their legal status in the United States, and she strives to provide the same outcome for her clients.
